  1. Ooo I love the signs of Spring. We will hit the 70’s by the end of the week. I want green grass and budding leaves so darn bad. You snagged some great books, I love the look of the thrillers/mysteries. I need to read, read, read and hope to do so this week.

    1. Thanks, Kimba, and I also love those spring days….summers, not so much, but I need to take some time off to go to the coast then. I also love thrillers…and I’m getting ready to dive into What You Left Behind.

  2. I really enjoyed Under a Silent Moon so you are in for a treat there! I have What You Left Behind waiting for me to read as well. Hopefully very soon as I think it sounds really good! Have a great week! And yay for signs of Spring!!!!

  3. Such a beautiful photo os spring! We are months away from that scene, but after two months in Florida I can’t really complain.

My Sunshine Away seems to be a “must read” among bloggers right now, and I always enjoy Laura Lippman. Hope it’s a great week for you!

    1. Thanks, Katherine, and I’m loving the look of the blossoms, but not feeling so great about them…allergies. I used to have just the right pills for them…now they don’t seem to be doing the trick! LOL Have a great week, too.

  5. Wow! A few on your list which interest me. Off to work out what I’ve read – the Samantha Hayes and (early) Laura Lippman definitely. Am keen to read Hush though!

Good that you enjoyed Baltimore Blues, I expect as a series moves on, and the character develops it becomes more interesting. I see thrillers are something that you like, me I read them a little, but not my major diet!

    1. I have been obsessed with thrillers lately, but I also enjoy the occasional book about relationships, etc. And yes, I definitely enjoy the Tess Monaghan series…Hush is the newest in that one. Thanks for visiting, Kathryn.

    1. Thanks for visiting, Elizabeth, and Amazon Vine is a program on Amazon for reviewers…they invite us to join based on our reviews, but I don’t know how many you have to write to make the cut, as that seems to differ…but then we have access to their pages to select free books in exchange for reviews. I’ve been doing it for a few years.

I visited Boston once, but in the fall. Lovely that time of year.

    1. Oh, it is hard to imagine such differences, but I guess that makes things interesting! Thanks for stopping by, Laura…

We have relatively mild winters, not much spring or fall, and long, very hot summers.

  7. Where They Found Her is definitely one of my most awaited books this spring; I can’t wait to hear what you think of it! I’m also interest by the Elizabeth Haynes book, even though I’ve had mixed feelings about the two books of hers I read (one I loved, the other, meh)
    Enjoy your reading!

    1. Yes, I do love our street in the Fall, but the pretty leaves don’t last long before the trees are bare. Same with the blossoms in Spring. Short Spring and Fall…long summer. Thanks for stopping by, Kate, and I am looking forward to these books. Happy reading!

You had an amazing reading week! And your new books, it’s like being in the chocolate aisle at the store, I want, I want lol. The Daughter and My Dearest Friend top of the list. Happy reading 🙂

  9. I hope you enjoy your book choices for the week. I haven’t checked out Amazon Vine for so long. I already have too many review books from Edelweiss and NetGalley. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

    1. When I upgrade to Paperwhite, I should be able to access NetGalley (the books don’t format on my current Kindle); but I’m not sure I want to add that program to the Vine. I am already trying to curtail the Vine reviews so I can read more of my own books…LOL.

      Thanks for stopping by, Kathy.
