Happy Easter!
I love The Cheesecake Factory. I hope you had a good time.
So many great books and now you are on NetGalley? Uh oh…look out…it’s dangerous over there and very addictive 🙂
In answer to your question on my blog, yes I do have a Paperwhite. It’s my favorite device to read on.

Thanks, Yvonne, and I do know that NetGalley will be addictive. I hope that my plan to only request books that I was going to buy will help. Enjoy your week!

Ooo, new Jonathan Kellerman! I’m curious, why didn’t NetGalley work on your old Kindle? It’s worked on every Kindle I’ve had (Keyboard, Fire, Touch, and Paperwhite). Be careful requesting at NetGalley, that place is dangerous! Like crack for book lovers. And when you think it’s safe to request a bunch because you won’t get them all, heh heh, surprise! 😀
Happy Easter!

I don’t know why it didn’t work, either, Bea, but I tried everything with no luck…but it worked perfectly on the Paperwhite.
I know that I have to be careful with NetGalley…I already sense that I’m addicted. LOL

Inside the O’Briens is everywhere now and I can’t wait to hear what you think of Hausfrau. I started reading and put it aside when it didn’t click immediately, but plan to pick it up and try again. The Cheesecake Factory is a treat… hope it was delicious!

Netgalley is dangerous! I download books I want to read and then I completely forget about them. I had hoped to do better with ebooks this year but, so far, that hasn’t happened. Happy reading!

I do know what you mean about downloading books, even the ones I’ve purchased. It is hard to keep track of them, hidden away on the device…or in the cloud!
I do have a written list, as well as one on my computer, which I hope will help guide me…LOL
Thanks for stopping by, Kathy, and enjoy!

Thanks, Kathryn, I do love blogging….although ever since I deleted some of my images from Curl up and Read, some of the pictures are disappearing every few days. Which is weird. It seems they should all have disappeared immediately. It is ghost-like and eerie. LOL
I just finished Blueprints and really enjoyed it. Glad you could stop by.

Thanks, Nise, and I am discovering how easy it is to go crazy at NetGalley, which is why I must limit myself to requesting only those books I planned to buy. Maybe that will curtail my addiction…LOL.
Yes, that bear is a Boyds one that I gave my daughter when she graduated from Cosmetology school.
And it was a wonderful spa day.

Spa day and lunch with your daughter … sounds like a lovely week. I’ve seen Hausfrau on a few blogs today, pretty cover. The Hypnotists Love Story is on my library audio list but I struggled with The Last Anniversary, maybe I wasn’t in the mood. Might wait for another Liane Moriarty, I do love her writing.
