What can I say about what will come next?  I don’t know what the week holds, so I am going to go with the flow.  I have many books on Pippa to read, including the lovely new e-galleys I received.  I also hope to just enjoy the week.

What about you?  What’s on your agenda?  Do you have an agenda?  I do know that I will be sipping iced tea for at least part of today.

    1. Thanks, Greg, and I had almost forgotten that A Man Called Ove was on my wish list until his second book came out…another one that sounds good. Long title, about a grandmother saying she’s sorry…LOL.

      Happy Fourth!

    1. Thanks, Rita, and I am hoping that I will manage to read something in the days ahead, but family will definitely come first. I am eager to read all of these books, however. I hope you have a great week and enjoy the holiday.

  4. I like the sound of the Paula Daly book. I have the Kellerman as well so am looking forward to reading that down the track.

Hope your prep for the Berliners (love the term!) continues to go well!

    1. I loved two previous books by Paula Daly, so I am excited to see what will unfold in this one. And Kellerman is a favorite author for me from way back. Thanks for stopping by, Deborah, and I am definitely looking forward to the “Berliners” coming. (I love the term, too!).

After this visit, they will be taking their adventures somewhere else, and I can’t wait to find out where.

    1. Thanks, Daniela, and I always look forward to a new Kate White book. I hope to spend lots of time with my son and his wife, as well as other family members. My daughter will be co-hosting in her home, across town. She has a backyard pool and more space. But while she works, I can help “entertain them.” We also plan to head up north, at some point, to visit my youngest son there.

  5. Love that you gave Sparky to such a deserving recipient. Nice way to delete all the books, I wouldn’t have thought of that but I must look for my old one and offer it to anyone in the family who might like it. Enjoy your family visit.

    1. Thanks, Heather! I love your name (my daughter is also called Heather!). Her dad’s family has a little Scottish and a little Irish in their background. Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting.

    1. I agree about Those Secrets We Keep, Grace; I really couldn’t stand Georgina….but I guess arousing our emotions is one way the author wants us to connect. I am eager to read The Mistake I Made….

    1. Yes, they will be, Kathy, but so far, they are still in LA…they had flight delays, etc. They will probably show up here in a couple of days. Today I’ll be meeting my other kids and grandkids for lunch, and hoped the Berliners would surprise us…who knows? Thanks for stopping by.
