Good morning! Today’s post will link up to The Sunday Salon, The Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves, for weekly updates.
**Mailbox Monday is hosted at the home site: Mailbox Monday.
And, in anticipation of Sheila’s return to lead us in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, check out Book Journey.
My reading has improved, even though I am easily distracted by purging, blog deleting, and rearranging of furniture. So far this month, I have read and reviewed 13 books, an improvement over last month’s 10.
To celebrate a productive week, I had lunch at the Elephant Bar today…I am stuffed! Creamy mac and cheese, a Caesar salad, and a Martini.

Sounds like you’ve had a productive week, Laurel-Rain! I think purging is good! I need to find the time to empty our basement where we store ‘stuff’ because I’m quite sure a lot of the things hiding in there could rather be at someone else’s house. It’s really hard to find the motivation to start doing it, though, so kudos to you for continuing to purge and make your house more manageable.
Your new books look really good, especially The Good Neighbor. I hope you’ll enjoy them all.
Have a fantastic week ahead and happy reading 🙂

Thanks, Lexxie, and it’s not as though I am planning to move anytime soon, but when/if I do, I want the job to be easier than my last one…
I am actually glad that I don’t have all the hidden storage places (attics or basements) like I did in my last home.
I am eager to read The Good Neighbor.

I want to read the Good Neighbor and the Accident Season. I am hearing good things about both. I hear ya as far as the reading goes, August was one of my lowest reading and reviewing months in a long time. I Think I read only ten books.
