Wow… a huge number of posts last week and some good looking books this week. I think I read something by Carla Buckley but will have to check what it was. The name’s familiar anyway.
And how young (and beautiful) does Jane Fonda look in that cover?! Wow!

I have enjoyed a couple of Buckley’s books, so I’m eager to begin this one. And yes, I sort of went crazy with the posting…LOL.
I agree about Jane Fonda…and I would have purchased it for my Kindle, but I wanted to see the photographs.
Thanks for stopping by, Deborah, and have a great week.

You were busy on the blogs this week. Like the look of the Jane Fonda book and the memoir. Always interesting to look into other people’s lives! Drooling over the yummy breakfast. I had to be out of my house for 4 hours after a spray for ants and other insects so I bought a pie to eat while reading at the seaside. Forgotten how challenging it is to eat a pie out of a paper back but it was tasty!

Oops, that should be a paper bag!!

Ha-ha…Yes, I know what you mean! And that sounds wonderful, reading and eating pie by the seaside. Thanks for stopping by, Kathryn, and I’m eager to read the Jane Fonda book…I’ve read a couple of other books about her and by her, too. This one is a biography, so it should be interesting.

Mmm, omelets. Love ’em LOL. Nice reviews of Spectacular Now and Good Neighbor- I remember seeing Spectacular Now last year and looking it over. I think they made a movie too? Your thoughts make me kinda want to give it a try. And The Good Neighbor- sounds like she gets in a spot of trouble, I can see that one being fun.
Great week, hope this one is good too!

Sounds like a non stressful week. My mailman screwed up big time. I have 3 books I’m waiting for but the post office hasn’t received anything for me yet the mailman left a parcel pick up note . I don’t know what happened but I’m not happy about it. I shall wait another week

Oh, Jackie, I hate when that happens! Or sometimes I get the pick up notice when the post office isn’t open and it’s a Saturday night, with Sunday and Monday to wait! I am impatient. Good luck sorting it all out, and thanks for stopping by.

It is therapeutic, and that feeling outweighs (for me) the fear of losing a book I once loved…I can’t think of that part! I don’t know why I am so ferociously purging, but it started a few months ago and it won’t let go. LOL. Thanks for stopping by, Megan, and I really enjoyed that breakfast.

Rainy Day Sisters has a brilliant cover, I hope you enjoy it 😀 I know I shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but it’s so pretty!
Also, a huge congratulations on taking some books to the library 🙂 For me, that’s something I find VERY difficult to do… there’s that connection, you know? When it’s a fantastic book and you can think of a million reasons why you shouldn’t give it away. I think I might be a book hoarder! Eeep!
Have a great week,

I have been a book hoarder for several years. I had a lot of books when I moved in here eight years ago, and have accumulated even more. When I started purging, I had 1435 physical books (not counting my e-books), so I knew it was time to thin them out. I think I’m down to 500 or less now…I haven’t done a head count since the last purge.
Thanks for stopping by, Amy, and enjoy your week.
