Welcome to WWW Wednesdays, hosted by Sam, at Taking on a World of Words.
It has been a while since I participated in this event. Today I felt like joining in, after spending the last two days reading really engaging books.

The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
***
Currently, I am reading an e-ARC from NetGalley: Corrupted, by Lisa Scottoline. I started it last night, read quite late, and then got up early this morning to keep reading. That’s how much I’m loving it!
Benny Rosato is facing her past with her newest client….and as she prepares for his trial, her mind traipses back several years, and we are caught up in that case and a lost love.
***
I just finished reading another e-ARC, Smoke, by Catherine McKenzie. (Click title for my review). Another book that kept me up late at night.
Excerpt from my review: Smoke is a story about families, about relationships, and about the physical and emotional events in life that can derail them. It also reveals much about friendships and the tests that cause them to unravel. I found myself caught up in the lives of the characters, wondering about their secrets and what had pulled apart these two formerly best friends, Elizabeth and Mindy. A book that captured me from the opening pages and held me until the very end, this one earned 5 stars.

What will I be reading next? There are a couple of books tugging at me...Who Do You Love, by Jennifer Weiner; and A Place We Knew Well, by Susan Carol McCarthy.
***
That’s what’s going on for me today….and I’m waiting for the carpet cleaners, having removed all the smaller pieces from my rooms into my garage and my office. Yes, I’m not having the office carpets cleaned. There isn’t a lot of traffic in here! LOL
Enjoy your Wednesday!

The Lisa Scottoline book sounds great, I’ll be looking out for that one. A Place We Know Well sounds like it could be a good read too. Happy reading!

It’s great when you come across a book you enjoy so much you’re forced to stay up reading late. As long as you don’t have to get up and be terribly productive the next day! The Martian was the last book which I gladly sacrificed sleep for.
I’m going to check out your review of Smoke now!
Thanks for visiting my WWW – https://clairehuston.wordpress.com/2015/10/21/www-wednesday-21st-october-2015/ – and happy reading 🙂

Yes, reading most of the night does kill productivity, doesn’t it? Thanks for stopping by, Claire, and enjoy your books.

I also love Lisa Scottoline, as you know, and just got an email today that I won a book from Goodreads. I thought I had won Corrupted, lol, but I actually won Accused, the first one in this series. Oh well, I haven’t read it so it’s all good and then I can move on to this one.
And I’ve got my eye on Smoke and enjoyed Who Do You Love!

Accused was a good one, too; I love the women in that Rosato & DiNunzio law firm. Thanks for stopping by, Rita.
