It has been a great month! This week was a little slower than my previous one, since I spent way too much time on one book. I kept picking it up, reading a bit, and then setting it down again. It was not a favorite!
Today I celebrated the end of the month with a delicious lunch at the neighborhood Mimi’s: French Onion soup, a spinach salad, and strawberries. And a martini!

The French Onion Soup and spinach salad sound and look fantastic! I haven’t had a good French Onion Soup in far too long. You got some lovely books this week! I really loved Mulhern’s 2nd mystery and want to go back and get The Deep End. It looks really great! Have a fantastic week and I’ll take a martini or two!

I love French Onion soup but haven’t had it in awhile.

I’m not a big fan of salads, but my favorite is spinach and strawberries with almond slivers, feta cheese, and balsamic vinegar as the dressing. Your picture made me hungry for it! I’ve been struggling a bit with In the Woods. I feel like I keep reading and reading but I’m not making much headway. Enjoy your week!

I do love those items in a salad…and mine also had mushrooms. Feta cheese is my preferred cheese, as well as balsamic vinegar as the dressing. I’m getting hungry all over again! LOL.

I’ve seen The Admissions around and I’m so curious about it. It sounds like it could be good, but I like the cover. And I didn’t know Adriana Trigiani had a new book coming! I’ve really enjoyed what I read of hers and I love books set in the ’30s, so I’ll have to look for this one. Happy reading!
