FRIDAY BLUES: TWEAKING, OGLING, & PONDERING….

Good morning!  Yes, it’s Friday, not Monday, but I tweaked the header here…just a bit.  Moved the squares around so the “Monday” feature is dead center, with the other elements playing a slightly “smaller” role.

Before, Monday was slightly off center and a little wacky.  Only an OCD person like me would even care, right?

I just started a new medication for my reflux, and one of the side effects is mood changes, along with headaches and sleep deprivation.  So maybe we can chalk it up to that….

It’s been a pretty good reading week, with thrillers, a newer book that I loved (Under the Influence – click for review), and I’m halfway through an older book:  A Long Time Gone, by Karen White.

I’ve been ogling Book 3 in the Country Club Murders series, coming May 10:  Clouds In My Coffee, by Julie Mulhern.  I LOVE the cover!

When Ellison Russell is nearly killed at a benefactors’ party, she brushes the incident aside as an unhappy accident. But when her house is fire-bombed, she’s shot at, and the person sitting next to her at a gala is poisoned, she must face facts. Someone wants her dead. But why? And can Ellison find the killer before he strikes again?

Add in an estranged sister, a visiting aunt with a shocking secret, and a handsome detective staying in her guesthouse, and Ellison might need more than cream in her coffee…

That blurb makes me wish it were May already!

What are you tweaking, ogling, or pondering today?

  1. I met Julie Mulhern at that mystery conference I attended a couple of weeks ago. I told her that her books were being talked about by all my blogging friends and that everyone loved the 70’s time period. She seemed quite happy to hear it. LOL
