Welcome to another Waiting on Wednesday event, hosted by Jill, at Breaking the Spine.
Every week, we gather around the blogosphere and search out the upcoming book releases, sharing our thoughts and blurbs. Today’s featured book will be released on May 10, 2016, and is the third book in a trilogy that I’m really loving.
Clouds In My Coffee, by Julie Mulhern, is “A sparkling comedy of errors tucked inside a clever mystery….”
When Ellison Russell is nearly killed at a benefactors’ party, she brushes the incident aside as an unhappy accident. But when her house is fire-bombed, she’s shot at, and the person sitting next to her at a gala is poisoned, she must face facts. Someone wants her dead. But why? And can Ellison find the killer before he strikes again?
Add in an estranged sister, a visiting aunt with a shocking secret, and a handsome detective staying in her guesthouse, and Ellison might need more than cream in her coffee…

I am very eager to get my hands on this one, as I loved the first two books in the trilogy: The Deep End and Guaranteed to Bleed.
What are you eagerly awaiting? I hope you’ll stop by and chat, leaving a link to your own post.

I have The Deep End on my kindle but didn’t read it yet. I hear wonderful buzz about this series so I really need to jump in and start it. I hope you get to read this one and that it’s as good as #1 and 2 for you 🙂

Judging from the synopsis it appears that Ellison’s life gets more complicated than ever! I’m so glad this is coming in May- only two months to go!

Hmmm, coffee is my magic word. This sounds pretty good — do you think I could read this and not the other two? Or start from the beginning? Here’s mine: http://editingeverything.com/blog/2016/03/16/wow-where-i-lost-her/

Hmm, I read them in order, but I’ll bet there will be enough info in the book so you could read it alone….each new story stands on its own, in terms of the mysteries, although It’s more fun to see where the character began. Thanks for stopping by, Sydney.

I’ve got the first two on my Kindle to read soon. So many of you guys have enjoyed them and the 70’s time period is fun. Will look forward to this one as well. I got to meet this author recently and told her that she was being talked about in the blogging world. She seemed happy to hear it. LOL

The title has me thinking of the Carly Simon song, You’re So Vain. Now I can’t get it out of my head, lol.

OMG! Now I’ll be humming it, too, Catherine…LOL. I had forgotten how the title is part of the lyrics in that song….
Do you hum the Carpenters’ song when you come here? Thanks for stopping by.
