HUMP DAY READING…

Today I’m participating in WWW Wednesdays, at Taking on a World of Words Here’s how it works:

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next, and/or what are you eagerly awaiting?

***

CURRENTLY READING:   Me for You (e-book), by Lolly Winston, a NetGalley ARC that will be released on March 12: a richly poignant and stirring story that asks: How soon is too soon to fall in love again?

***

BOOKS FINISHED SINCE LAST WEEK: (Titles/Covers Linked to My Reviews)

On Turpentine Lane, by Elinor Lipman

The Silent Patient, by Alex Michaelides

***

EAGERLY ANTICIPATING:

After the End, by Clare Mackintosh (Release Date –  6/25/19)

(Description from Goodreads): From New York Times bestselling author Clare Mackintosh, a deeply moving and page-turning novel about an impossible choice—and the two paths fate could take.

Max and Pip are the strongest couple you know. They’re best friends, lovers, unshakable. But then their son gets sick and the doctors put the question of his survival into their hands. For the first time, Max and Pip can’t agree. They each want a different future for their son.

What if they could have both?

A gripping and propulsive exploration of love, marriage, parenthood, and the road not taken, After the End brings one unforgettable family from unimaginable loss to a surprising, satisfying, and redemptive ending and the life they are fated to find. With the emotional power of Jodi Picoult’s My Sister’s Keeper, Mackintosh helps us to see that sometimes the end is just another beginning.

That was my week.  What did yours look like?

  1. I just finished The Silent Patient last night and am glad to see you enjoyed it as much as I did! It was quite the suspenseful, twisty read and loved it to all the hype. I was glad to see today they’re making it into a movie. Enjoy your reading week!

  2. I am beginning to believe that I am the only one that didn’t love The Silent Patient. It was definitely unique and hard to put down. I just didn’t get as wowed by the ending as everyone else has. Hope you have a great week of reading!
