Today I’m participating in WWW Wednesdays, at Taking on a World of Words. Here’s how it works:
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next, and/or what are you eagerly awaiting?
***
CURRENTLY READING: The Editor, by Steven Rowley,a novel about a struggling writer who gets his big break, with a little help from the most famous woman in America.
***
BOOKS FINISHED SINCE LAST WEEK: (Titles/Covers Linked to My Reviews)
Before She Knew Him, by Peter Swanson
All the Wrong Places, by Joy Fielding
The Night Visitors, by Carol Goodman
***
EAGERLY ANTICIPATING: I’m eager to get my hands on I Know Who You Are, by Alice Feeney,a brand new, highly anticipated, dark and twisted thriller: (Release Date – 4/23).
Synopsis: Meet Aimee Sinclair: the actress everyone thinks they know but can’t remember where from.
Except one person.
Someone knows Aimee very well.
They know who she is and they know what she did.
When Aimee comes home and discovers her husband is missing, she doesn’t seem to know what to do or how to act. The police think she’s hiding something and they’re right, she is—but perhaps not what they thought. Aimee has a secret she’s never shared, and yet, she suspects that someone knows. As she struggles to keep her career and sanity intact, her past comes back to haunt her in ways more dangerous than she could have ever imagined.

Thanks, Sammie, I’m loving The Editor. I thought going in that the Jackie O connection might be the best part, and while I’m loving those moments between the writer and the editor, I also love the writer’s own story
Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting.

Thanks, Deanna, and I’m loving it! I was afraid the Jackie O connection would just be a gimmick…but the writer in the story has his own issues and tales to tell. I should be finished with it this morning. Enjoy your books.

I’m glad you’re enjoying it. I loved the Jackie O parts, but I had a hard time connecting to it otherwise. I wasn’t fan of the MC.
