Today I’m participating in WWW Wednesdays, at Taking on a World of Words. Here’s how it works:
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next, and/or what are you eagerly awaiting?
CURRENTLY READING: The Book of Two Ways, by Jodi Picoult
From the author of Small Great Things and A Spark of Light comes a “powerful” (The Washington Post) novel about the choices that alter the course of our lives.

EAGERLY ANTICIPATING: Her Dark Lies, by J. T. Ellison – Release Date: March 9, 2021
Synopsis: Fast-paced and brilliantly unpredictable, J.T. Ellison’s breathtaking new novel invites you to a wedding none will forget—and some won’t survive.
Jutting from sparkling turquoise waters off the Italian coast, Isle Isola is an idyllic setting for a wedding. In the majestic cliff-top villa owned by the wealthy Compton family, up-and-coming artist Claire Hunter will marry handsome, charming Jack Compton, surrounded by close family, intimate friends…and a host of dark secrets.
From the moment Claire sets foot on the island, something seems amiss. Skeletal remains have just been found. There are other, newer disturbances, too. Menacing texts. A ruined wedding dress. And one troubling shadow hanging over Claire’s otherwise blissful relationship—the strange mystery surrounding Jack’s first wife.
Then a raging storm descends, the power goes out—and the real terror begins…

I’m reading The Book of Two Ways this week too. Are you enjoying it? I’ve found it quite hard to get in to but it’s clicked with me today and I’m enjoying it now. I hope you have a good week of reading ahead. 🙂

Thanks, Hayley, and I am liking parts of it. I really prefer the “Boston segments” over the Egyptology ones. Sigh.
Enjoy your books and your week, and thanks for visiting.

Even with all the nefarious goings on in Her Dark Lies, I’d still be tempted to visit just for the scenery, lol. Happy Reading! https://teripolen.com/2021/02/03/www-wednesday-what-am-i-reading-amreading-49/

Looks like you’re reading a lot of good stuff. I’ve never read any of Jodi Picoult’s work, although I’ve heard of her and know a lot of people enjoy her books. I’ll have to read one of hers someday.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

You make Single Mother sound promising. And I don’t say that lightly! After all, you’re the one who turned me on to Confessions on the 7:45.

I’m a big Jodi Picoult fan! Thanks for reminding me there is a new book out.
Kristin Hannah is a bit hit or miss with me. I found the book set in Alaska was quite depressing!

Ooh – that is a Jodi I haven’t read that looks super interesting. Did you ever read the one she wrote with her daughter where the characters in the book came alive when they weren’t reading? It was awesomely weird.
Have a great week!
