Welcome to our regular feature, Saturday Snapshot, our opportunity to showcase photos we or friends and family have captured.  The event is now hosted by West Metro Mommy.

Here we are on a Saturday in February, and for the past month, I have been celebrating the 18th birthdays of my two granddaughters, Aubrey and Fiona.

Today I want to spend some time showing my daughter’s recent celebrations.  She and her best friend are in Nashville, and they are having a fabulous time!

Here’s Heather before her getaway, as if she could use some time away:

And here is her layover at LAX, just before she heads to Nashville:

Maw! You let a redneck take my sis to Countrymusicland? What’s going on over there? Who’s minding the store? Well, at the very least she needs to go to Graceland and take a pic by Elvis’ grave. Then post it to my fb wall. 😀

    1. I don’t know if she’s going to Graceland, but that sounds like a fine idea…and as for the friend who accompanied her, he’s a writer for a music online magazine…I think.

Thanks for checking into your sister’s well-being, Craig. LOL

  2. My husband and I usually invest all of our vacation time and money into our annual trip to see my family in Canada. Like you then, I have to travel vicariously through others. Mostly, my relatives and friends seem to end up in Europe.
