She’s a beauty and reminds me of the styles in the ’40s there 🙂 from photos I saw of people, not myself lol.
I’ve read a couple of your titles: At Risk a long time ago, wasn’t this Hoffman’s first book?, and The Mistake I Made. I definitely want to read the Jane Porter, Elin Hilderbrand, and Diane Chamberlain, and I have Dune Road but haven’t opened it yet. Good week ahead for you, so enjoy, and keep enjoying your close contact with the Berliners. My son arrived today in FL to visit my oldest child and her family, then he heads home next week– we can’t wait!

Thanks, I agree about Gabi’s photo…my son also took some black and white shots of her playing the piano, and she has the style of that era in those photos, too.
I suspect At Risk was Hoffman’s first book, or one of them; I know that I missed it along the way.
We had a nice day today, eating out at an Asian Fusion restaurant in the neighborhood…and then I took them to my daughter’s, where they will hang out today and tomorrow. I’ll join them tomorrow for brunch.
Thanks for stopping by, Rita.
