Good morning!  Today’s post will link up to Sunday Salon, The Sunday Post,  and Book Journey, for  Weekly Updates.

**Mailbox Monday is now hosted at the home site:  Mailbox Monday.

Grab some coffee (or a mimosa!), and let’s talk about our weeks.

Today I enjoyed a relaxing brunch.  You can’t really see the Santa Fe Omelet, which I loved with that Bloody Mary:

    1. No….sometimes they don’t show up right away…I get frustrated, as even when I respond to a comment, it doesn’t show immediately, and I have to refresh the page several times! Thanks, Kimba.

  1. Wow how did you come across the Richard Yates book?! I have not read that one yet. He writes some pretty dark, depressing stuff but Revolutionary Road is a classic. Enjoy your St. Pat’s Day!

  3. Richard Yates is a favorite and Cold Spring Harbor is very good, but like all of his books it’s on the depressing side. Not sure if you like literary biographies, but A Tragic Honesty: The Life and Work of Richard Yates by Blake Bailey is outstanding. It gets my highest recommendation!

    1. Oh, I am happy to hear this, Brandie, as even though I love her books, some recent ones were a little disappointing. But not so much that I would stop picking up her books. Thanks for stopping by, and I am glad you enjoyed looking at the brunch…LOL.

    1. Thanks, Tracy, I do enjoy going somewhere for brunch or lunch fairly often, especially since I live just around the corner from a great mall…and the movie theater is right there, too.

Enjoy your week and I’m looking forward to the new books.
